Once a Knight, Always a Knight

Our School

Central High School offers blended learning opportunities to its approximately 1,300 general education and ESL students. Career and technical programs available at Central High School include business entrepreneurship, law and public safety & security. Through a dual enrollment program, eligible students may take select courses during the day at the Community College of Rhode Island. For students requiring special education services, offerings range from inclusion to self-contained programs.

Taking the SurveyWorks survey for Central High School

is your way to tell the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) what school is really like.

Here is why it matters:

  • Your Voice = Power: You are the expert on Central High. This is your chance to tell the "bosses" in Providence what needs to change.
  • Fix the Building: RIDE uses your answers to decide which schools need more money for things like better bathrooms, heat, or new equipment.
  • Change Your Classes: If you’re bored or stressed, saying so helps teachers change how they run their classrooms.
  • Get Better Support: Your feedback helps the school bring in more counselors or fun after-school programs.
  • Totally Private: No one—not your teachers or your principal—will ever know which answers were yours. You can be 100% honest.
  • Put Central on the Map: High participation shows the state that Central students care and deserve the best resources.
